About the Position We are seeking a dependable, hardworking, bilingual English/Spanish General Laborer / Construction Laborer to join our full-service construction team. Our company provides a variety of construction, renovation, maintenance, and property improvement services. Because our work varies from project to project, we need someone who is flexible, comfortable working in different areas of construction, and willing to assist wherever needed. Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are required for this position. Many members of our construction team are Spanish-speaking, and the person hired must be able to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish while working with team members, supervisors, and others on active job sites. Construction experience is preferred. We are looking for someone who demonstrates a strong work ethic, reliability, willingness to learn, and the ability to take direction and work effectively as part of a team. Responsibilities Duties may vary depending on the project and include: Assist with residential and commercial construction projects Demolition and removal of existing materials Framing and basic carpentry Drywall installation and repairs Painting and surface preparation Flooring installation and removal Installing and repairing siding, trim, doors, and windows Deck and porch construction and repairs Basic landscaping and exterior property improvements Loading, unloading, and transporting tools and materials Site preparation and job-site cleanup Operating basic hand and power tools Assisting carpenters and other skilled tradespeople Moving and handling construction materials Maintaining clean, safe, and organized job sites Communicating effectively with both English and Spanish-speaking team members Following safety procedures and company policies Performing additional construction and property improvement duties as needed based on project requirements

Qualifications Required:

Bilingual in English and Spanish with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages Reliable transportation to and from job sites Ability to travel up to 1 hour from the primary work area when necessary Ability to perform physical construction work for extended periods Ability to lift, carry, and move construction materials and equipment Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools Dependable and punctual Strong work ethic and positive attitude Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks Ability to work independently when needed Ability to work effectively as part of a team Willingness to perform different construction duties as project needs change

Preferred:

Candidates must be physically capable of performing general construction labor and safely lifting and moving construction materials and equipment as required for assigned projects.
