This role involves working outdoors with a team to install landscaping features and irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate has experience in landscape construction, irrigation setup, and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the installation of softscapes (plants, sod, mulch) and hardscapes (pavers, retaining walls, edging) Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems including valves, heads, and controllers Operate landscaping equipment such as skid steers, excavator and power tools Follow landscape design plans and instructions from the crew leader or foreman Maintain a clean and safe job site, adhering to all safety procedures Load and unload materials and tools at job sites Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors Work in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments
Qualifications:
Previous landscaping or irrigation experience preferred Ability to read and follow design plans and blueprints Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Strong physical condition and stamina for lifting, digging, and working long hours outdoors Positive attitude, punctuality, and willingness to learn
