Excavation Laborer

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Excavation Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting excavation and site preparation activities essential for successful project completion. Your energetic approach and attention to safety will help ensure smooth operations on busy construction sites. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with heavy equipment and develop your skills. Responsibilities Prepare construction sites by setting up safety barriers and silt fence as needed. Support excavation activities by digging trenches, foundations, and other earth-moving tasks under supervision Perform routine inspections of equipment to ensure optimal functioning and safety compliance Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members Collaborate with team members to coordinate the movement of materials and equipment around the site Operating a laser for grade Use of multiple hand tools Experience Prior experience working on construction sites or in excavation roles is highly preferred Knowledge of safety standards and procedures specific to construction environments Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards learning new skills in construction operations Must have a clean driving record Must know how to set up and use a rotary laser Must be able to obtain a medical DOT card
