Job Description

Field Laborer / Final Cleaning LaborerAbout Us Superior Contracting Services is a growing open-shop construction company specializing in selective demolition, general labor, and final cleaning services throughout New England. We are seeking motivated, dependable individuals who take pride in their work and want an opportunity to build a long-term career in the construction industry. Whether you have experience or are looking to get started in the trades, we are willing to train hardworking individuals who are eager to learn and grow. Pay ranges from $19.00 - $30.00 per hour based on experience, certifications, equipment operation skills, leadership experience, and overall qualifications. Candidates with equipment operation experience are strongly encouraged to apply and may qualify for higher starting pay. Key Responsibilities Perform general labor duties on construction, demolition, and final cleaning projects. Assist with selective interior demolition, material removal, and site preparation. Clean and prepare job sites by removing debris, dust, and construction materials. Perform detailed final cleaning of completed construction areas, including windows, fixtures, surfaces, and flooring. Safely use hand tools, power tools, and job-site equipment. Operate or assist in the operation of construction equipment when qualified and authorized. Load, unload, and transport materials as directed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company and job-site safety policies and procedures. Work effectively with supervisors, foremen, and team members to complete projects on schedule. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old. Previous construction, demolition, or final cleaning experience is helpful but not required. Experience operating construction equipment is highly preferred. Valid driver's license required. Reliable transportation required. Willingness and ability to travel to job sites throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Maine, Connecticut, and other New England locations as needed. Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and dependable attendance. Willingness to learn, follow directions, and work as part of a team. Ability to safely operate or learn to operate equipment such as: Skid steers Mini excavators Scissor lifts Boom lifts Telehandlers Other construction equipment as needed.
Ability to:
Lift and carry 50-70+ pounds regularly. Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Climb ladders, work on lifts, and use scaffolding when required. Stand, bend, kneel, and perform physical labor throughout the workday. Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check, if required by project or client.
