No experience is required. You'll learn heavy equipment and site work on the job from an experienced operator, and the role can grow toward running equipment yourself. It's a good fit for someone who likes physical, outdoor work and wants to build a career in construction. Duties Assist the machine operator with excavation, trenching, and grading work. Stage materials, hand dig, check grade, and clean up the site. Support pipe laying, backfill, and compaction. Help locate and mark underground utilities before digging begins, as directed by the operator. Follow jobsite safety procedures and keep the work area safe for the crew. Pitch in wherever needed to keep the jobsite moving. Qualifications Not afraid of hard work: physical, outdoor labor in all seasons. Reliable and on time, every day. Willing to learn. No prior experience needed. Able to follow instructions and work safely around heavy equipment. Valid driver's license. Construction or site work experience is a plus, but not required.
