In this role, you will be instrumental in assisting with paving projects, operating heavy equipment, and supporting the overall construction process to ensure efficient and high-quality outcomes. Your energy and attention to detail will contribute to creating durable, smooth roadways and surfaces that stand the test of time. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in heavy equipment operation and construction site management while working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist with paving operations, including preparing surfaces, spreading asphalt, and finishing surfaces to specifications Operate heavy equipment such as rollers safely and effectively Support excavation and utility locating activities to ensure proper groundwork before paving begins Maintain a clean and organized work site by removing debris and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and meet project deadlines efficiently Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and promote a secure work environment Requirements Prior construction site experience with knowledge of paving processes preferred Familiarity with utility locating techniques and safety procedures on construction sites Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in heavy equipment operation and paving techniques Valid driver's license; CDL certification is a plus but not required initially Basic understanding of construction safety standards and practices Join our team today to be part of impactful projects that shape communities!
