JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for cleaning, preparing, and maintaining construction sites to facilitate a safe and efficient construction project. Assists Project Foreman and Project Managers to ensure that job sites run smoothly, meet project goals and timelines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Self-Perform Duties:
Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris, trash, and possible hazards. Installing temporary protection, including covering installed materials, dust protection, floor coverings, etc., and maintenance. Load or unload construction materials are directed. Put together and take apart temporary structures, such as scaffolding. Dig and backfill holes, muck out footings, dewater excavation and trenches, and move soils by hand. Cut grass or trim brush as directed. Clean, organize, and keep tools and equipment ready for use. Assist carpenters and skilled workers as directed. Open and close jobsite as directed. Operate construction equipment and tools as directed and trained which may include material lifts, scissor lifts, screw guns, skid loader, and forklift. Additional training may be required. Other assignments as direction, including those duties requiring minimal tools to complete. Lead Composite Clean-up crews to remove debris, trash and hazards from project site.
Non-Self Perform Duties:
Follow instructions from supervisors. Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary. Take multiple directions and execute without re-instruction. Assist in supervising trades and reporting under the direction of the Project Foreman or Superintendent. Recognize and enforce safety when unsafe activities observed. Arrived on time, before time, and ready to work. Assist the foreman in information gathering for reporting on the job site. Example; man-counts, material counts, reporting work in progress.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
Must have valid driver license. Be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or GED Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks. Ability to work in all weather. Workers must be punctual and reliable. Must have experience as a general laborer in the construction industry

The physical demands listed below are representative of those that will be required to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Pay:
$17.75-22.50/hr Paid bi-weekly
