A Construction Skilled Laborer performs a variety of physical tasks on construction sites, utilizing specialized skills and experience to support project completion. This role involves working with tools, materials, and equipment to assist in building, repairing, and maintaining structures while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.Key Responsibilities:
Perform general construction tasks, including site preparation, material handling, and cleanup Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently Assist with skilled trades such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, or masonry as needed Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and instructions Measure, cut, and assemble materials according to specifications Load and unload construction materials and equipment Maintain a clean and organized job site Follow all safety regulations and company policies Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet project deadlinesQualifications:
Previous experience in construction or a related trade preferred Knowledge of construction methods, tools, and materials Ability to perform physically demanding work (lifting, bending, standing for long periods) Basic understanding of safety procedures and OSHA guidelines Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to work independently and as part of a teamPreferred Skills:
Experience in specific trades (e.g., carpentry, concrete, HVAC, or electrical) Ability to operate heavy equipment (forklifts, skid steers, etc.) Valid driver's license and reliable transportationWork Environment:
Outdoor and indoor construction sites Exposure to varying weather conditions and loud environments Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) requiredPhysical Requirements:
Ability to lift 50+ pounds Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and climb for extended periods Comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces when requiredSimilar remote jobs
