Skilled Laborer - Auburn, ME Auburn, Maine | Contract-to-Hire | $20/hr We're hiring a Skilled Laborer to join our team at a busy recycling facility in Auburn, Maine. This is a great opportunity for someone with industrial or outdoor work experience who enjoys physical work, learning equipment, and being part of a tight‑knit crew. You'll play an important role in keeping operations running smoothly by handling materials, operating equipment, and supporting customers safely and efficiently. What You'll Be Doing Operate forklifts and skid-steers to move and manage materials Load and unload metal and recyclable materials safely Follow written plans and verbal work instructions accurately Use hand and power tools as needed Provide basic customer service when interacting with clients What We're Looking For Essential Skills 1+ year of industrial experience (construction, manufacturing, landscaping, or similar) Comfortable using hand tools and power tools Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly Strong attention to safety and instructions Additional Qualifications Interest in learning to operate forklifts, skid‑steers, or dozers Basic customer service skills Dependable, team‑oriented work ethic Why Work Here?
