Construction Laborer (Marine Projects)

MUST BE COMFORTABLE STAYING OVERNIGHT AT A PROJECT 1-2 DAYS/WEEK IF NEEDED

This role offers hands-on experience in marine construction, a niche and in-demand field, with the potential to transition into a permanent position after 6 months. What You'll Do As a key member of a small, experienced crew, you'll assist with a variety of marine construction projects, including docks, piers, seawalls, and retaining walls. No two days are the same.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting in the construction and repair of docks, piers, and waterfront structures Supporting concrete work, carpentry tasks, and basic ironwork Safely operating and maintaining hand and power tools Loading, unloading, and organizing building materials on job sites Working closely with skilled tradespeople to learn new techniques Maintaining clean, organized, and safe work environments Following all safety procedures and contributing to a strong safety culture Performing physically active tasks, including lifting 50-70 lbs What You Bring We're looking for someone dependable, hardworking, and eager to learn.
Preferred qualifications:
Previous construction, labor, or hands-on work experience (entry-level construction candidates encouraged to apply) Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort using tools Strong work ethic and willingness to take direction Ability to thrive in outdoor, physically demanding environments Reliable transportation to travel to various coastal job sites Team-oriented attitude and commitment to showing up consistently
