Skilled Construction Laborer

SE Agricultural & Commercial Solutions, an agricultural construction company based in Byron Center, MI, is seeking a full-time Skilled Construction Laborer to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will have a solid working knowledge of hand and construction tools, a positive attitude, and strong leadership qualities. We're looking for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, takes initiative, and is motivated to learn and grow in the role. General Qualifications Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team Positive attitude with strong customer service skills Willingness to learn and continuously develop new skills Ability to take direction from supervisors and project managers Reliable and punctual Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Job Requirements & Skills Proficient with general construction hand and power tools Ability to accurately read a tape measure Ability to read and interpret blueprints Carpentry and framing experience preferred (5+ years) Steel erecting experience preferred (2+ years) General construction experience preferred (5+ years) Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work 40+ hours per week Willingness to travel and work out of town for up to one week at a time (returning by Friday evenings) Ability to work outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions Comfortable working around livestock, including cattle Ability to work at heights using ladders, lifts, or equipment (boom lifts, SkyTrak, forklifts preferred) Commitment to workplace safety and OSHA compliance Chauffeur's License (or willingness to obtain within 30 days) CDL Class A is a plus (company will cover cost of first test) Welding experience is a plus (training opportunities provided) Benefits Health insurance Dental and vision insurance Life insurance Health Savings Account (HSA) Retirement plan Paid time off
