$18.00/hour Job Overview We are currently seeking a reliable Laborer for a 90-day contract assignment at a transfer station facility. This is straightforward outdoor work involving walking the property and picking up debris around the site. Candidates must be comfortable working outside for the duration of the shift and able to work independently in a physical labor environment. Job Duties Walk to the property and collect debris outside of the transfer station Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area Perform general labor tasks as assigned Follow all site safety procedures and PPE requirements Assist with additional site cleanup or labor tasks as needed Requirements Must have reliable transportation and keep personal vehicle on site during shift Must have a working cell phone on them while working Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as needed Steel toe/work boots required PPE Requirements Candidates must bring: Hard hat Steel toe/work boots Reflective safety vest Gloves (recommended) Work Environment Outdoor work environment Exposure to dirt, odors, noise, and weather conditions Physical labor throughout the shift including walking, lifting, and general cleanup duties Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Previous labor or outdoor work experience is helpful but not required Ability to follow directions and work independently Dependable attendance and punctuality required Please note: The break room is currently unavailable due to construction, though a temporary trailer is expected onsite soon.
