We are currently hiring team members to join our Highway Signs and Guardrail divisions, which services the entire state of Michigan.

As a Construction Laborer/CDL Driver within the signs division you will install all elements of signs statewide. Work includes installing driver posts, setting/finishing foundations, erecting steel structures, removal and replacement, and finishing earthwork as needed. Work is completed on state highways, expressways, and various commercial applications. Laborers are exposed to various tools and equipment including, but not limited to, bucket trucks, loaders, and digger derricks. As a Construction Laborer/CDL Driver within the guardrail division you will be responsible for assisting with the installation, repair, and removal of highway guardrail systems and related roadway safety infrastructure. This position works as part of a crew performing physically demanding outdoor work to ensure guardrail systems are installed safely, accurately, and in accordance with project specifications and safety standards. Ability to mobilize heavy equipment to the worksite by driving air-break-equipped heavy trucks. Must currently have a CDL for this position, CDL A preferred This is a fast-paced, outdoor environment with many opportunities to grow.

Qualifications:

Driver's License with CDL A or B Problem-solving skills Works well in a team environment where situations and demands change daily.

Effective Communication Skills Skills and Experience:

Construction experience Power tool operation Ability to accurately read a level and a tape measure.

Work Requirements:

Ability to perform manual labor as required in an outdoor environment in the heat, sun, cold, and rain This position will often require working out-of-town on projects that could be a week(s) at a time.
