In this energetic role, you'll assist with the safe and efficient teardown of structures, preparing sites for new construction or renovation projects. Your hands-on skills and attention to detail will contribute to successful project completions, all while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Duties Assist with the demolition of buildings, structures, and fixtures using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment under supervision Safely remove debris, hazardous materials, and recyclable materials from demolition sites Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to understand project scope and requirements Support in site preparation activities such as setting up safety barriers, scaffolding, and temporary supports Operate basic construction equipment including forklifts, skid steers, or mini excavators as trained Collaborate with team members to ensure adherence to safety protocols and project timelines Assist with site cleanup, material sorting, and disposal to maintain a safe working environment Experience Prior experience working on construction sites or in demolition preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic heavy equipment operation is advantageous Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and basic construction techniques such as concrete forming or framing is a plus Experience with construction inspection or management can enhance your contribution to projects Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in demolition and construction processes Embark on a rewarding career path where your effort directly contributes to building something new!
