Skills that impress us include being reliable and punctual, demonstrating great character, including integrity, and being a self-motivated team player. Hey, and if you have some construction experience, the Helical Pier Division would love that, too! We hire for the right attitude. Kent Companies will train everyone who is willing to learn, work hard, and improve themselves. Duties and Responsibilities Daily focus on personal and team safety Loading/unloading tooling and equipment. Loading/unloading helical materials. Bring along a daily positive "Make It Happen" attitude. Hand excavation/backfill. General demolition Occasional concrete patching work General knowledge of tools and safe, proper use Some flexibility as the timing at the "end of the day" can vary based on projects and travel time. Respect for leaders and use of appropriate language. Personal gear such as steel-toe work boots, work pants, and hand tools Willingness to occasionally travel out of state and stay out of town for projects.
