General Construction Laborer (Paid Training Lead Certification Required)

Job Summary We are looking for a dependable and motivated General Construction Laborer with some hands-on construction experience who is eager to learn and grow. This position involves assisting with a variety of construction and environmental projects, including lead abatement. The right candidate must be willing to obtain Lead Abatement Certification within 30 days of employment (training support provided). Key Responsibilities Assist with general construction tasks including demolition, framing, drywall, painting, and cleanup Support lead abatement projects, including setup of containment and safe material handling Load/unload materials and maintain a clean, organized job site Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE at all times Work alongside supervisors and skilled trades to complete projects efficiently Learn and apply lead-safe work practices and regulatory requirements Travel to various job sites as needed Qualifications 1+ year of construction or labor experience preferred Willingness to obtain Lead Abatement Certification within 30 days (required) Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in physically demanding conditions Comfortable working in confined spaces and wearing PPE/respirators Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Paid training for lead certification Opportunities for overtime Paid time off Career growth opportunities into skilled trades or supervisory roles Work Schedule Full-Time, Monday-Friday Occasional overtime and weekends as needed Why Join Us On-the-job training and skill development Steady, year-round work Opportunity to grow into higher-paying roles Supportive team environment
