Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Contractor Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting various phases of construction projects, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple trades and develop your skills in a fast-paced, energetic environment. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, hardworking, and ready to contribute to the successful completion of diverse construction projects. Responsibilities Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris, setting up safety barriers, and organizing materials Support skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and masons in their daily tasks Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform various construction activities Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to assist with project execution Perform concrete forming, finishing, and masonry work as needed to support structural elements Help with framing, door hanging, trim carpentry, and drywall installation to ensure precise craftsmanship Support roofing, stucco application, caulking, plastering, and other finishing tasks to enhance project quality Assist with heavy equipment operation under supervision for tasks like excavation or material transport Maintain a clean and organized worksite by disposing of waste materials and storing tools properly Follow all safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure working environment for everyone on site Qualifications Prior experience in construction or related fields is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction techniques Ability to read blueprints and schematics for accurate task execution Knowledge of construction safety practices and protocols Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, lift heavy objects, and perform manual labor throughout the day Basic understanding of trades such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, or electrical work is a plus Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Valid driver's license is preferred for site access and equipment operation support Join us in building quality structures while advancing your career in the construction industry!
