Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be an essential part of the Wiltshire Design and Construction Team, assisting primarily with residential renovations. Your energy, attention to detail, and willingness to learn will contribute to the successful completion of various construction projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience across different aspects of construction while working in a fast-paced environment. We offer reliable and consistent hours. An ideal candidate is first and foremost reliable, motivated, enjoys work and works hard . Responsibilities Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including clearing debris, preparing job sites, etc. Support skilled workers with tasks such as framing, drywall, painting, trim work, finish carpentry, cabinet isntallation, and finishing work Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently under supervision Mix concrete using concrete mixers and assist with concrete forming, pouring, and finishing processes Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks to move materials and equipment around the site Support installation of flooring, tile laying, stucco, roofing, and other exterior or interior finishes Follow safety protocols consistently to maintain a secure work environment for all team members Requirements A motivated and friendly demeanor and personality. Prior experience working on construction sites or in related roles is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks throughout the workday Knowledge of construction techniques such as concrete finishing, drywalling, painting, caulking, trim carpentry, or restoration work is a plus A valid driver's license A high school diploma or equivalent Strong communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately Commitment to safety standards and a proactive attitude toward maintaining a safe work environment Join us in building and renovating quality structures while developing your skills in a collaborative team environment!
