  S_179711 A Midland manufacturing company is seeking a Shipping Laborer to join their team! This is a 1st shift position (5:30am
• 4pm) Monday
• Thursday, with overtime as needed on Fridays and Saturdays if needed based on the production schedule.

A background in furniture moving, labor, shipping and receiving, construction, or related fields is desired. This is a temp-hire opportunity once a reliable attendance record has been demonstrated as well as a positive work ethic.

Responsibilities:

Shipping includes the loading of cabinets of various sizes onto various semitrailers using a hand truck or dolly, ensuring they are inputted in the system for each job. This is a very physically demanding job requiring walking miles each day with continuous lifting, stacking, moving, and shifting of cabinets to stay on shipping schedule.

Skills:

Ability to remain on feet for extended periods including regular bending, stooping, twisting, lifting, and carrying up to 50LBs.

Ability to follow verbal and written directions in regards to production paperwork to ensure utmost quality adherence.

A background in manufacturing, shipping and receiving, construction, or related fields is desired.
