Construction Laborer

Job Summary Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer, where your energy and skills will contribute to building and renovating structures that make a difference. In this vital role, you will assist with various construction tasks, operate heavy equipment, handle hand and power tools, and support skilled tradespeople to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards. Duties Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris and setting up safety barriers Operate heavy machinery such as concrete mixers, pumps, and other equipment safely and efficiently Perform rebar installation, concrete forming, finishing, and pouring to support foundational work Use hand tools and power tools for carpentry, framing, roofing, drywall installation, and trim carpentry tasks Read blueprints and schematics to accurately follow construction plans for masonry, stucco, metal stud framing, and renovation projects Support masonry work including tile laying, flooring installation, plastering, caulking, and restoration efforts Conduct heavy lifting and material handling to ensure smooth workflow on the job site Assist in the installation of hardscape features such as patios or walkways using appropriate techniques Operate heavy equipment like cranes or forklifts when certified and trained to do so Follow safety protocols diligently while working on construction sites to prevent accidents Experience Prior experience working on construction sites or in related trades is highly preferred Knowledge of mechanical systems and construction estimating processes is a plus Hands-on experience with concrete pumping, finishing, or formwork is advantageous Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics for various construction disciplines Skills in welding, metal stud framing, or roofing are beneficial but not mandatory Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly and operate power tools safely Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or experience with commercial driving is a plus This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their skills across multiple construction disciplines.
