Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer and be a vital part of transforming blueprints into reality! This energetic role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential renovations to commercial builds, utilizing your hands-on skills and passion for construction. As a Construction Laborer, you will support skilled tradespeople, handle various tasks on-site, and ensure safety and efficiency throughout every phase of the project. This paid position welcomes motivated individuals eager to grow their construction expertise in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites, including material staging and site cleanup Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, and fastening Support concrete work by mixing, pouring, finishing, and cutting concrete as per project specifications Install rebar, formwork, metal studs, drywall, stucco, tile, flooring, and other building materials following blueprints and technical drawings Interpret construction plans and blueprints to understand project requirements and specifications Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks while adhering to safety protocols Support masonry, roofing, plastering, caulking, restoration, and other specialized trades as needed Requirements Prior experience working on construction sites or in related roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated learners Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately Knowledge of construction safety regulations and proper use of hand tools and power tools Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on safety protocol adherence Willingness to learn new skills such as concrete pumping, formwork construction, rebar installation, masonry techniques, or tile laying This role is ideal for individuals passionate about building and eager to develop a broad skill set across multiple facets of construction.
