Job Description

Job Summary:
We are currently looking for Construction Laborer(s) to join our company. The primary job for this position is to assist in the completion of projects in a safe and efficient manner. To be a great fit for this job position, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty listed below and meet the following qualifications. Additional or different duties may be assigned occasionally at the employer's discretion. It is the responsibility of all W. Lorentz & Sons Construction employees to work together to complete all projects in a safe and quality manner.

W. Lorentz & Sons Construction has been a family owned and operated business since 1959. We specialize in excavation, underground utilities, concrete, trucking, mining materials and we also have an in-house mechanic shop. We pride ourselves on providing our customers with the highest quality of work; close or far, big or small, we cover it all.
Essential Duties:
This position requires multiple tasks that can be extensive labor, sitting, standing, climbing, bending, kneeling, shoveling, as required. Requires the ability to lift arms above shoulders. Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary. Ability to observe details near and far and exchange accurate information. Must be able to read instructions and take direction verbally and in writing. Maintain orderliness, cleanliness, and safety at jobsites. Ability to operate machinery and move from machine to machine safely. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and remain alert and attentive to job duties. Must be able to bend, stoop, twist, carry, push, pull, reach and lift overhead, go up/down steps. Able to work in all weather conditions.
Qualifications:
Must possess valid DOT Medical Card Must maintain a current driver's license that meets state requirements, i.e., CDL, Class A and/or B Driver with possible hazmat and tanker endorsements. Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required. Punctual, adaptable, and reliable
