Job Description
R&E Enterprises is looking for a dependable, hardworking Laborer / Construction Operator to join our road construction / pipe crew. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating equipment, and being part of a hardworking construction crew. Job Responsibilities Perform general labor duties on road construction projects Operate construction equipment such as skid steers, loaders, rollers, excavators, and other equipment as qualified Assist with grading, excavation, aggregate placement, paving, and other construction activities Assist truck drivers and equipment operators as needed Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance Load, unload, move, and distribute construction materials Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area Work as part of a team to complete projects safely and efficiently Other duties as assigned Qualifications Construction experience preferred, but willing to train the right person Experience operating construction equipment is a plus Valid driver's license required CDL is a plus, but not required Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting and standing for extended periods Dependable, hardworking, and willing to learn Strong work ethic and ability to work well with others Must be willing to travel to various job sites Schedule Full-time, seasonal construction position Work is primarily during the spring, summer, and fall construction seasons Typically home most nights Some early mornings, long days, and occasional weekend work may be required depending on project needs What We Offer Competitive pay and/or prevailing wage based on experience and qualifications Opportunities for overtime during the construction season Training and opportunities to learn and advance into equipment operator or CDL positions Family-owned and operated company Steady work with an experienced construction team If you are dependable, take pride in your work, and want to be part of a team that gets the job done, we would like to hear from you!
