In this role, you will be responsible for safely executing demolition projects, utilizing a variety of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment to efficiently dismantle structures. Your expertise will contribute to successful project completion while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse demolition sites, develop your skills across multiple construction disciplines, and be part of a motivated team committed to excellence. Responsibilities Safely perform demolition activities including tearing down structures, removing debris, and preparing sites for renovation or new construction. Use hand tools and power tools effectively for tasks like cutting, grinding, and dismantling building components. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to understand project scope and specific demolition requirements. Assist with site cleanup, material handling, and waste disposal to ensure a clean and safe work environment. Collaborate with project managers, construction supervisors, and other trades such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and masonry teams to coordinate activities smoothly. Follow all safety guidelines related to construction management, construction inspection, and the operation of heavy equipment. Qualifications Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on demolition or related trades such as carpentry, masonry, or restoration. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings relevant to demolition projects. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Knowledge of construction management practices including safety standards and site protocols. Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical systems, concrete forming, plastering, fabrication, roofing, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, glass installation, cabinet installation, framing techniques, door hanging, painting finishes, concrete finishing techniques, masonry work, welding processes, flooring installation methods including tile laying—these skills are highly valued. Strong communication skills with the ability to read technical documents such as schematics and blueprints clearly. Physical ability to perform demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.
