Job Description

About us Professional periodontics & dental implants is a private periodontal specialty dental practice in Maple Grove, MN. We thrive and aspire to make differences, so that our patients can be most satisfied in our care. We provide Non-surgical periodontal treatment, surgical peridoontal procedures including gum graft procedure, regenerative procedures, periodontal pocket procedures, laser assisted crown lengthening procedure, single/multiple dental implants and soft and hard tissue regenerative therapy. We are looking for amazing team player like you and looking forward to hearing from you! Our clinic hours are :
Monday:
9:00
  • 5:00
Tuesday/Wednesday:
8:00
  • 4:00
Thursday:
8:00
  • 3:00
Responsibilities:
  • Assist the periodontist during dental procedures
  • Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
  • Take PAs, BWX, Pano and CBCT
  • Prepare materials for periodontal regenerative surgery
  • Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Follow infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited dental assistant program
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
  • Familiarity with medical records systems and dental office software
  • Proficiency in assisting with various dental surgical procedures
  • Understanding of aseptic technique and infection control practices
  • Ability to perform patient assessments and document medical information accurately
  • Knowledge of medical coding for insurance billing purposes
