Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a person for part time masonry & some concrete Laborer. Hours are part time and flexible. You may work one day this week nothing the next week than maybe work 4 days the next week etc.. Excellent for a person looking to make some extra cash! Responsibilities Assist experienced masons with laying bricks, stones, concrete blocks, and other masonry materials according to project specifications Prepare work sites by setting up scaffolding, mixing mortar, and organizing tools and materials Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for cutting, shaping, and installing masonry units Follow blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise placement of materials Install rebar reinforcement and assist with concrete forming and finishing tasks as needed Maintain safety protocols on-site by adhering to OSHA standards and ensuring proper use of safety equipment Experience Prior experience in concrete masonry or related construction fields is highly preferred Hands-on experience with mortar work, stone masonry, bricklaying, and concrete finishing techniques Ability to operate heavy equipment safely when required for site preparation or material handling Experience in scaffold building, metal stud framing, stucco application, caulking, trim carpentry, roofing or restoration projects is a plus Strong understanding of safety protocols specific to construction sites and masonry work environments Must have reliable transportation.
