Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an HVAC Laborer and be a vital part of delivering top-notch heating, ventilation, and air conditioning services. In this energetic role, you'll assist with installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems across commercial and residential properties. Your mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills will help ensure our clients experience optimal comfort and system efficiency. Duties Assist with the installation of HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, and equipment setup according to schematics and HVAC design plans Support service technicians in diagnosing and repairing HVAC/R (refrigeration) systems, electrical components, and mechanical systems Use hand tools, electrical diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters, and mechanical tools to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively Perform routine maintenance on HVAC units, boilers, refrigeration systems, and building automation systems to ensure peak performance Aid in plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems, including pipe fitting and leak detection Help with the removal and replacement of faulty components or entire systems following safety protocols Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including system repairs, maintenance logs, and schematic references Experience Prior construction experience or hands-on work in mechanical or property maintenance roles preferred Service technician experience in HVAC/R or appliance repair highly valued Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, electrical systems diagnostics, and refrigeration technology is a plus Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC system installation and repair required Experience with hand tools, electrical testing devices (such as ohmmeters), and equipment troubleshooting essential Knowledge of building automation systems and electrical diagnostics enhances your suitability for this role Valid EPA certification for refrigerants is required for handling refrigeration systems Strong customer service skills are important for interacting professionally with clients during service calls This energetic role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their technical skills in a supportive environment.
