This role involves supporting operations through materials handling, equipment operation, yard maintenance, pouring concrete blocks, and ensuring the efficient movement of goods within the yard. The ideal candidate will have experience with heavy equipment, and safety protocols, contributing to a safe and productive work environment. Duties Maintain safety standards in accordance with OSHA regulations during all operations Support organization by stacking, sorting, and storing materials properly Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning Collaborate with warehouse supervisors on inventory management and process improvements Follow safety guidelines for heavy lifting, materials handling, and equipment operation Break down and pour concrete blocks cleanup and maintenance around the plant and yard Qualifications Previous experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or construction environments preferred Mechanical knowledge and experience operating heavy equipment are highly desirable Knowledge of OSHA safety standards applicable to plant operations Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and long periods of standing or walking within the yard Valid certification or training in heavy equipment operation is advantageous Construction or warehouse experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential This Yard Worker role offers an opportunity to be an integral part of our logistics team by ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials across our facility.
