Laborer/Operator - CDL

We are seeking an Operator (with a valid CDL) to operate and maintain combination vacuum and jetting trucks. The operator will be responsible for cleaning and clearing pipelines, sewer lines, storm drains, and other infrastructure components using high-pressure water jetting and vacuum systems. Key Responsibilities Operate Jet Vac - Combo trucks, which combine high-pressure water jetting systems with vacuum capabilities, to clean and clear debris from pipelines, storm drains, and sewer systems. Perform routine maintenance and ensure the proper functioning of equipment, including checking fluid levels, cleaning filters, and monitoring truck performance. Inspect and assess the condition of underground infrastructure to determine appropriate cleaning methods and equipment settings. Safely navigate the truck through tight or confined spaces, maintaining attention to safety protocols at all times. Communicate with clients and supervisors to coordinate cleaning schedules, assess needs, and provide status updates on work completion. Adhere to safety guidelines, including wearing the appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and following environmental and regulatory standards. Maintain accurate records of services performed, including time, materials used, and any issues encountered. Ensure that all safety checks and inspections are completed before and after operating the truck. Assist with troubleshooting and minor repairs of the vehicle and associated equipment as needed. Support the team in performing additional tasks, such as locating utilities and prepping work areas. Qualifications & Requirements Valid Class A or B CDL (Commercial Driver's License) required with a clean driving record. Ability to travel overnight ~75% of the time (some jobs will require 2-3 weeks out of town in a row). Experience operating Jet Vac - Combo trucks or similar equipment preferred. Strong understanding of safety protocols, including working in confined spaces and handling hazardous materials. Ability to work independently and make decisions based on the assessment of job site conditions. Good physical condition, capable of lifting heavy equipment and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members. High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional certifications related to the operation of high-pressure systems and safety practices are a plus. Prior experience in pipeline, sewer, or storm drain cleaning is preferred but not required.
