Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer and be a vital part of transforming blueprints into reality! This energetic role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial renovations to new builds, utilizing your hands-on skills and enthusiasm for construction. As a Construction Laborer, you will support skilled tradespeople by performing essential tasks that keep projects moving forward efficiently and safely. This paid position is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their expertise in the construction industry while contributing to high-quality building projects. Responsibilities Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment Operate power tools and heavy equipment under supervision Perform heavy lifting of materials, supplies, and equipment necessary for various phases of construction Conduct demolition work as needed during renovation projects Use hand tools like hammers, saws, and measuring devices efficiently and safely Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents on-site and ensure compliance with OSHA standards Skills Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction tools and equipment operation Ability to operate power tools including concrete mixers, drills, saws, and heavy machinery such as skid steers or mini excavators. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation for tasks like excavation or material transport Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical endurance throughout long shifts Experience with commercial driving for transporting materials or equipment when required Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude towards safety and quality standards
