Responsibilities Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment Operate power tools and heavy equipment under supervision Perform heavy lifting of materials, supplies, and equipment necessary for various phases of construction Conduct demolition work as needed during renovation projects Use hand tools like hammers, saws, and measuring devices efficiently and safely Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents on-site and ensure compliance with OSHA standards Skills Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction tools and equipment operation Ability to operate power tools including concrete mixers, drills, saws, and heavy machinery such as skid steers or mini excavators. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation for tasks like excavation or material transport Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical endurance throughout long shifts Experience with commercial driving for transporting materials or equipment when required Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude towards safety and quality standards
