This energetic role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial renovations to new build developments. As a Construction Laborer, you will actively contribute to the successful completion of construction sites by performing essential tasks that support skilled trades and ensure safety and efficiency. Your hands-on involvement will help bring architectural visions to life while maintaining a safe, productive work environment. Duties Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to perform tasks such as concrete mixing, cutting, and finishing Support carpentry activities including framing, trim carpentry, drywall installation, and formwork construction Aid in concrete pouring, finishing, rebar installation, and concrete cutting to ensure quality standards are met Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute construction plans and specifications Follow all safety protocols related to construction workplace safety regulations, heavy lifting, scaffolding, and equipment operation Perform general labor tasks such as heavy lifting, site cleanup, material hauling, and assisting skilled trades on various projects Requirements Proven experience working on construction projects with knowledge of various trades such as masonry, roofing, plastering, tile laying, and restoration Mechanical knowledge including the use of hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, and heavy equipment operation Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans accurately Familiarity with construction estimating processes and blueprint specification interpretation is a plus Strong understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times Physical capability for heavy lifting, working at heights or in confined spaces as needed Valid driver's license with experience in commercial driving preferred for site transportation needs Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in areas like metal stud framing, welding, flooring installation or drywall finishing Join us in building exceptional structures while advancing your career in a fast-paced environment that values safety, craftsmanship, and teamwork!
