Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Assists the Operator with installing conduit and fiber optic cable: digging, trenching, boring, and backfills with shovel or vac. Assists Operator with the maintenance and repairs of existing services and equipment. Runs low voltage wiring, sets pedestals, vaults and hand holes, etc for cable plant. Operate and maintain walk-behind plow/trencher, fiber blowers, and other tools and equipment as necessary. Adheres to construction schedules and records project time. Processes additional paperwork as required. Participates in the On-Call schedule for emergency maintenance and repair.Requirements:
A valid Driver's License High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to pass a background screening. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Possess ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to interact with a variety of people and places.Job Type:
