In this energetic role, you will be a vital part of installing, repairing, and maintaining essential underground infrastructure. Your hands-on work will directly contribute to building safer, more reliable communities. Duties Assist with the excavation, trenching, and backfilling of underground utility lines using hand tools and power equipment. Support the installation of pipes, conduits, and other underground infrastructure components according to project specifications. Operate basic construction tools and machinery safely under supervision. Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure work environment for yourself and your team. Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. Help with site cleanup and organization to keep the work area safe and productive. Assist with locating existing underground utilities to prevent damage during excavation activities. Qualifications Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials, digging, and standing for extended periods. Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills. Basic understanding of construction safety practices; prior experience is a plus but not required. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions clearly. Valid driver's license preferred; ability to operate small machinery is a bonus. Willingness to work flexible hours including overtime when necessary.
