Role:
In this role, you will assist the Carpentry Mechanical Trades Supervisor in coordinating construction and maintenance activities for the Carpentry/Structural section. You'll help ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards while supporting daily crew operations.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Scheduling and assigning work to crews Tracking and managing jobs in an EAM work order system Overseeing carpentry projects such as doors, windows, roofing, flooring, ceilings, and automated gates Inspecting completed work for quality and compliance Assisting with cost estimates and tracking project expenses Ensuring adherence to safety standards and regulations Reading blueprints and troubleshooting construction issues Coordinating with departments, contractors, and external partners Potential Career Path for

Qualifications What You Bring:
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED with 4-6 years of carpentry maintenance and/or construction experience "OR" No High School Diploma/GED with 8-10 years of carpentry maintenance and/or construction experience "OR" an Associate's Degree with 2-4 years of carpentry maintenance and/or construction experience Valid Driver's License Experience using Microsoft Office Software (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) NC Pesticides Application License (ability to obtain within 18 months of hire) OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification (ability to obtain within 18 months of hire)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with EAM or similar work order systems Experience in multiple trades (Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, etc.) Proficiency with computers, iPads, and Microsoft Office Experience/knowledge of building codes, ADA requirements, and construction safety Ready to Lead?
