Equipment Operator/Laborer

Job Overview We are seeking dedicated and skilled Equipment Operators, and Laborers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly in construction settings strong understanding of highway construction site operations. This role involves varies tasks related to operating various types of machinery to assist in building, paving, and excavation projects. The Equipment Operator will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is operated safely and efficiently while adhering to project specifications and timelines. Responsibilities Assist in paving operations and utility locating tasks. Build structures and assist with site preparation as needed. Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections and minor repairs. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members. Collaborate with supervisors and crew members to meet project deadlines. Qualifications Previous experience in heavy equipment operation is helpful but no required. Familiarity with Caterpillar machinery, bulldozers, front loaders, graders, and backhoes is a plus. Ability to read blueprints and understand construction plans is beneficial. Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as required. A commitment to safety practices and teamwork in a construction environment. Familiarity with construction site operations and safety practices. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. A valid driver's license is preferred; additional certifications related to heavy equipment operation are a plus.
