Job Description

Job Title Construction General Laborer Company Overview Family-Owned and operated community focused home solutions specialist Job Summary We are seeking a hardworking, reliable, and physically fit Construction General Laborer to join our team. You will support our construction crew by preparing job sites, handling materials, operating hand and power tools, and assisting skill carpenters to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities Site Preparation:
Clean and prepare job sites by clearing debris, removing hazards, and setting up temporary structures like scaffolding and barricades.
Material Handling:
Load, unload, and transport building materials, tools, and heavy equipment to and around the work area.
Site Maintenance:
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment throughout all phases of project.
Trade Assistance:
Assist skilled craftspeople and heavy equipment workers with their tasks.
Labor Tasks:
As directed.
Tool Operation:
Safely and effectively operate hand tools and power tools. Qualifications and Requirements Previous experience in the construction industry or general labor is preferred, but willing to train the right candidate. Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting/carrying up to 50 to 100 lbs. consistently. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions (extreme heat, cold, rain). Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to follow instructions from supervisors. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites. Compensation & Hours Compensation negotiable starting at $30,000 Hours 8 - 5
Pay:
$30,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
