Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be an essential part of building and renovating structures by assisting skilled tradespeople and ensuring the smooth progress of various construction projects. Your energetic approach and attention to safety will contribute to creating high-quality results efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to impactful construction endeavors. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools Perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks such as moving supplies, materials, and equipment around the site Support carpenters, masons, and other trades by handling hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment like concrete mixers and concrete pumps Aid in concrete pouring, finishing, cutting, and formwork construction according to project specifications Install rebar, metal studs, framing components, and perform masonry work including stucco and masonry repairs Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of tasks Follow all safety protocols related to construction workplace safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment for everyone on site Requirements Proven experience working on construction projects or in a similar labor-intensive environment Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing, cutting, pouring, and related processes such as rebar installation and concrete mixing Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and other construction equipment safely Understanding of heavy lifting techniques and proper use of safety gear in accordance with construction safety regulations Experience with renovation projects, plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, metal stud framing, masonry work, or concrete pumping is preferred Strong work ethic with the ability to follow detailed instructions while adhering to safety standards Physical stamina for long periods of standing, bending, lifting heavy materials, and working in various weather conditions Join us in building something great!
