Job Description

Team member must have the ability to know how and when to perform various tasks independently as well as prioritize and pay attention to detail. Team Member must have the actions and appearance that represents the Sanford Contractors Brand at all times.

Core Duties:
Be punctual, dependable and professional at all times Be willing and able to learn on a consistent, daily basis Work with cost effectiveness, profitability and safety in mind Lead by example Adhere to all safety policies and procedures Take care of equipment and hand tools, notify supervisor of items needing attention Be aware of the activities planned for the day Work to meet daily production goals Keep jobsite, equipment, truck and trailer neat and orderly Take all necessary actions to protect work in place Ensure all equipment and tools are taken care of and stored neatly and properly when not in use Be willing to learn the safe operation of entry level grading equipment such as rollers, off-road trucks, etc. Always work to achieve the highest quality work possible Pay attention to the ongoing task at hand, anticipate the next step in the process and prepare accordingly Communicate time away from work with your team leader and other team members with sufficient notice to make plans for changing personnel to focus on the priorities Willingness to work hours as required
Education/Training/Certification:

Work involves frequent shoveling, raking, using hand tools and handling materials in and around trenches or uneven terrain. Requires standing or walking for extended periods and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
