Job Description
Dynamic East Construction is seeking a reliable, hard‑working Laborer to join our marine and residential construction team. This position supports day‑to‑day field operations, including dock construction, seawall work, material handling, jobsite cleanup, and assisting skilled crew members. If you enjoy hands‑on work, learning new skills, and being part of a tight, efficient crew, this role is a strong fit. Key Responsibilities Assist with construction of docks, piers, bulkheads, and other marine structures Load, unload, and stage materials, tools, and equipment Operate basic hand and power tools safely Support carpenters, machine operators, and project leads as directed Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites Follow company safety procedures and wear required PPE Perform general labor tasks including digging, lifting, carrying, and measuring Communicate clearly with crew members and supervisors Minimum Qualifications Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to lift 50-75 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to learn Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Preferred Qualifications Experience in construction, carpentry, or marine work Familiarity with power tools, measuring tools, and jobsite safety Comfort working around water and on floating structures Schedule & Work Environment Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Occasional weekend work depending on project deadlines Outdoor, physical work environment on land and water Compensation Competitive hourly pay based on experience Overtime opportunities Growth potential into skilled labor, carpenter, or equipment operator roles
