Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer and be a vital part of transforming blueprints into reality! This energetic role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial renovations to new build developments. As a Construction Laborer, you will support skilled tradespeople by performing essential tasks that keep projects moving forward safely and efficiently. Your hands-on contribution will help shape impressive structures while gaining valuable experience in the construction industry. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to perform tasks such as concrete mixing, cutting, pouring, and finishing Support carpentry activities including framing, trim carpentry, formwork construction, and metal stud framing Perform concrete-related tasks such as rebar installation, concrete forming, pouring, finishing, and concrete pumping Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of work Follow all safety protocols and workplace safety regulations to maintain a secure environment for everyone on site Assist with masonry, stucco application, roofing work, caulking, tile laying, flooring installation, plastering, and restoration projects as needed Operate heavy machinery such as concrete mixers and heavy equipment while adhering to safety standards Support site cleanup and organization to ensure a tidy and hazard-free workspace Skills Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience working on construction projects Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, concrete cutting equipment, and scaffolding setup Knowledge of construction estimating processes and material requirements Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations and protocols Experience with concrete forming, finishing techniques, rebar installation, and concrete pouring processes Skills in masonry work including bricklaying and stucco application Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and perform heavy lifting when required Strong teamwork ethic with excellent communication skills for coordinating with tradespeople and supervisors Join us in building quality structures while advancing your career in the vibrant world of construction!
