This energetic role offers hands-on experience in a variety of construction projects, from commercial renovations to new builds. As a Construction Laborer, you'll work alongside skilled tradespeople, assisting with essential tasks that keep projects moving forward efficiently and safely. Duties Assist with the installation of rebar, formwork, and concrete finishing to ensure structural integrity and quality. Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely to support various construction activities. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute tasks. Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks such as moving materials, debris removal, and site cleanup. Support masonry work including tile laying, stucco application, and restoration projects. Help with framing, metal stud framing, carpentry, roofing, and trim carpentry to meet project specifications. Conduct demolition, renovation work, and site preparation while adhering to safety protocols. Use hand tools such as hammers, drills, saws, caulking guns, and plastering tools efficiently. Assist with concrete pumping, mixing concrete with mixers or portable equipment for various applications. Follow safety guidelines rigorously while working on construction sites involving heavy lifting or heavy equipment operation. Experience Prior experience working on construction sites or in related trades is highly preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Knowledge of mechanical systems and basic construction estimating is a plus. Familiarity with reading blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings enhances your ability to contribute effectively. Hands-on experience with masonry, flooring installation, tile laying or stucco application is advantageous. Ability to operate power tools and heavy machinery safely is essential for success in this role. Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions. A valid driver's license for commercial driving or operating heavy equipment may be required depending on project needs.
