In this hands-on role, you will support landscaping and construction projects by preparing jobsites, handling materials, operating tools and equipment, and helping the crew complete work safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, communicates clearly, and brings a positive, solutions-oriented attitude to every job. Key Responsibilities Assist with landscaping, site preparation, installation, cleanup, and general construction activities. Install T-posts, flags, and other project materials according to crew instructions. Load, unload, move, and organize tools, equipment, aggregate, and construction materials. Shovel aggregate, perform grading and cleanup, and maintain orderly jobsites. Support mowing, snow removal, hydrovacing, and other seasonal operations as assigned. Spot equipment and direct traffic using proper flagging procedures. Clean tools and equipment and perform routine visual inspections. Follow all safety requirements, including personal protective equipment procedures. Communicate effectively with crew members, supervisors, subcontractors, and customers. Perform other duties as needed to support safe, timely project completion. Qualifications Construction, landscaping, or material-handling experience is preferred but not required. Willingness to learn new skills and follow instructions. Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship. Dependable attendance and ability to work effectively as part of a crew. Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in changing weather conditions. Ability to safely lift and move construction materials and equipment. Working knowledge of jobsite safety practices is preferred. Ability to inspect tools and equipment and identify basic maintenance needs is a plus.
