Blaktop Inc., headquartered at 73 Elm Street West Lebanon, New Hampshire 03784, phone number: (603) 298-8705, is looking to fill fifteen (6) Paving Crew Laborer positions from 10/01/2026 to 12/05/2026. This is for full-time, peak-load temporary employment.
Duties include:
The Paving Crew laborer will be primarily responsible for shoveling and raking asphalt and general labor related to asphalt construction.
Specific duties include:
Compliance with safety rules and work in safe manner. Assist in asphalt crew in installing hot mix asphalt to the specification required by the job. Adhere to quality standards. Assist with routine daily maintenance and clean-up. Must be able to lift and carry heavy loads, step up and down, and perform manual labor tasks.
Special requirements include:

The pay rate range starts from $24.70 up to $26.00 per hour, with overtime available at $37.05 up to $39.00 per hour, based on the hourly rate. 40 hours per week. Returning workers may be eligible for a higher wage rate. Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM.The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position. Daily travel to worksites in the area of intended employment is required. The requested temporary workers will be based at 73 Elm Street West Lebanon, New Hampshire 03784. They will service clients within the Daily travel to job sites in Grafton County, NH; Sullivan County, NH; Merrimack County, NH; Coos County, NH; Windsor County, VT; Orange County, VT; Essex County, VT, Orleans County, VT; Caledonia County, VT; and Washington County, VT. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. The pay period is weekly. The employer provides housing to the workers at a weekly payroll deduction of $100.00. Workers may be held financially liable for any willful or negligent damage to company equipment, property, or provided housing. The offered housing is optional for workers. Transportation, including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging, to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers will be reimbursed by a company check, separate from the payroll check, if the worker completes half of the employment period. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back to home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The transportation payment or reimbursement amount will equal the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.78 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Reimbursement in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker (but not including passport expenses or other charges primarily for the worker's benefit). At no charge, the employer will provide the worker all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job and on-the-job training in the proper use of tools and equipment. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period only to the extent that this guarantee is enforced by the Department of Labor. As of the date of this posting, the three-fourths guarantee is not enforced, but this is subject to change.
