  • The Construction Laborer supports construction activities on a long-term project in Manchester, NH by performing site cleanup, demolition work, and other general labor tasks. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction field and build a strong foundation for a future career.   • Responsibilities
  • + Perform general labor tasks to support construction operations on site.

+ Carry out thorough site cleanup, including removal of debris, sweeping, and organizing materials.

+ Assist with demolition work, including carefully dismantling structures and removing materials as directed.

+ Load, unload, and move materials, tools, and equipment around the job site.

+ Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with site safety guidelines.

+ Follow instructions from supervisors and tradespeople to support daily project needs.

+ Use basic hand tools and equipment as required for general labor and demo tasks.

+ Report any safety hazards, incidents, or equipment issues promptly to site leadership.

+ Work collaboratively with other crew members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.

  • Essential Skills
  • + Experience performing general labor tasks in a construction or similar environment.

+ Ability to carry out general site cleanup, including debris removal and basic organization.

+ Hands-on experience assisting with demolition work and material removal.

+ Capability to follow directions and work safely in an active construction site.

+ Physical ability to lift, carry, bend, stand, and perform manual labor for extended periods.

+ Reliability and strong work ethic, including consistent attendance and punctuality.

  • Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • + Prior construction site experience is preferred but not strictly required. + Willingness to learn new tasks and develop skills in the construction industry. + Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. + Basic familiarity with hand tools and simple construction equipment is an advantage.

  • The position is based on an active construction site in Manchester, NH for the duration of a year-long project.

You work primarily outdoors and in partially built structures, with exposure to typical construction conditions such as dust, debris, and varying weather. Standard construction safety practices apply, including the use of personal protective equipment such as hard hats, safety glasses, work gloves, and sturdy work boots. Work is hands-on and physically demanding, involving standing, lifting, and moving materials throughout the day, and requires adherence to site rules and safety procedures at all times.

  • Pay and Benefits
  • The pay range for this position is $25.

00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
