Job Title:
Assembly/Laborers Job Description Join our team on the 1st Shift (6am-2:30pm) from Monday to Friday, supporting Labor, Assembly, and Production roles. We are looking for individuals to fill roles such as Laborers, Finalizing Laborers, and Mechanical Assemblers. This position offers an opportunity to perform assembly and finishing tasks in a fast-paced, industrial manufacturing environment. You will be required to use hand and power tools regularly, follow written and verbal instructions, and support the fabrication process by forwarding your work to the next production area. Responsibilities Use screwdrivers, pliers, and special tools to position and hold parts during assembly. Attach or affix pre-manufactured components and parts. Manually or mechanically load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, and other transport vehicles. Drill holes for screws in the item or operate different machinery. Operate lifting devices such as forklifts, lift beams, swivel-hooks, hoists, and elevating platforms. Position lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, and boxes, securing materials or products for transport to designated areas. Work with hands and operate various tools and equipment. Plan the assembly process before an assembly line is built. Lift production objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Experience in industrial manufacturing or production. Knowledge of hand and power tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Welding and fabrication skills. Ability to perform heavy lifting. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience using power tools such as grinders, impact guns, and circle saws. Painting experience for touch-up work on containers. Bilingual with the ability to read and write for completing paperwork. Why Work Here? The work environment is non-climate controlled but remains comfortable and clean. The dress code includes work boots and work pants (excluding sweatpants). Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cherry Hill, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
