Responsibilities Assist with various construction tasks including framing, drywall installation, roofing, and flooring to ensure project progress. Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently on-site. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute tasks accurately. Perform site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications. Contribute to concrete forming, masonry work, stucco application, and plastering as needed. Support carpentry tasks such as trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, and window framing. Aid in finishing work including painting, caulking, tile laying, flooring installation, and glass or mirror installation. Assist with demolition, restoration projects, or remodeling efforts to meet client expectations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment by managing tools and materials effectively. Requirements Prior experience in residential construction or related fields is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Familiarity with construction management principles and estimating processes is a plus. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately; experience with blueprint reading is highly desirable. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy equipment operation. Knowledge of plumbing systems, electrical wiring basics, roofing techniques, masonry skills, and concrete finishing is advantageous. Experience working on construction sites with adherence to safety protocols is essential. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail; ability to follow instructions precisely. Physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy materials safely.
