Demolition Worker / Construction worker

Deon Builders is seeking an experienced and reliable Demolition & Construction Worker to join our team. This role involves hands-on demolition work, site preparation, and supporting general construction activities on commercial interior renovation projects.

Responsibilities:

Perform demolition work safely and efficiently Read and understand architectural drawings Prepare job sites with proper dust control and safety measures Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety protocols Operate hand and power tools Perform core drilling as needed Use demo saws (walk-behind and handheld) to cut concrete Remove and handle concrete and debris, including heavy lifting Operate skid steer for material handling and excavation Assist with other construction tasks as required

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of demolition/construction experience Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings Experience with core drilling and concrete cutting Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor Experience operating skid steer equipment Valid OSHA certification (required) Driver's license and own hand tools preferred Strong work ethic and reliability
