The ideal candidate brings solid hands-on experience on relevant projects and a strong work ethic. We prioritize safety and professionalism on every job site. Responsibilities Assist foreman/management in planning and coordinating daily field crew construction activities. Track and report daily progress, material usage, and safety concerns/incidents Communicate with the Foreman and Equipment Operator to complete tasks efficiently and inform supervisors of any potential delays or project risks. Coordinate timely receipt of materials with vendors, foreman/management and office personnel to ensure project stays on schedule Lay out, install and connect underground piping systems (water, sewer, storm). Perform system connections, including wet taps and tie-ins, to existing infrastructure. Use pipe-laying tools and equipment to accurately execute pipeline layouts and connections according to approved construction drawings. Supervise and/or operate equipment to excavate, trench and backfill to the specified depth and grade in accordance with approved drawings and OSHA guidelines. Follow all OSHA safety procedures, shoring standards, and utility markout protocols. Maintain a safe and secure job site at all times. Qualifications Knowledge of and ability to operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, and excavators. Familiarity with utility locating methods and pipeline installation processes. Able to work well with a team and communicate effectively with jobsite supervisor and crew. Able to perform physically demanding work, including extended standing and lifting materials. OSHA 10 and/or 30 certification is a plus.
