Job Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer, where your energy and dedication will help bring building projects to life! In this vital role, you will support skilled tradespeople by performing a variety of physical tasks on construction sites. Your hands-on work will involve assisting with concrete work, framing, roofing, masonry, and more, ensuring projects progress smoothly and safely. Responsibilities Assist with the installation of rebar, formwork, and concrete finishing to ensure structural integrity and quality. Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks such as cutting, shaping, and assembling materials. Support heavy lifting efforts for materials and equipment needed at the job site. Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications and assist with framing, metal stud framing, or drywall installation. Prepare and maintain construction sites by cleaning debris, organizing materials, and setting up scaffolding or safety barriers. Participate in masonry work including stucco application, tile laying, or bricklaying as required. Support renovation and restoration projects by assisting with carpentry, plastering, caulking, or roofing tasks. Operate heavy equipment such as concrete pumps or forklifts when trained and certified. Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for all team members. Qualifications Prior experience working on construction sites or in related roles is highly preferred; familiarity with various trades is a plus. Mechanical knowledge and the ability to operate power tools and hand tools confidently. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday. Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating processes. Skills in concrete mixing, concrete forming, rebar installation, flooring installation, tile laying, or masonry are advantageous. Experience with heavy equipment operation such as cranes or loaders is desirable; valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is a plus. Strong teamwork ethic with excellent communication skills; ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
