Job Description
Welding Helper Chuck's Welding Inc is a full-service tubing inspection and welding shop located in Hobbs, NM. We are looking for a candidate for our inspection division who has experience working on a drill pipe or tubing inspection crew.
Job Description:
Candidate must have experience and knowledge of NDT inspection. Candidate should have experience and knowledge of high-pressure washing equipment, rattling equipment, mobile EMI inspection equipment, and will assist with inspection procedures. Must have ability to use and operate a forklift to load and unload pipe racks and trucks loaded with pipe. This position requires a person who is willing to learn and grow with the company. The ideal candidate will be willing to work in an outdoor enviroment, learn new skills, perform duties with minimal oversight once given direction, and be able to take and retain information to complete multiple tasksRequirements:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to bend, reach, squat, kneel, and twist while working on the job site.
- Must have good vision and hearing.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Must be able to follow instructions and perform assigned duties accurately and efficiently.
- Must have good communication skills.
- Must have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Must be able to follow all safety rules and procedures.
